Pros

Great hours, PTO, health benefits

Cons

Experienced managers stay far away from this organization. So much is swept under the rug and not reported to HR or BSA dept. Pulling clients credit without consent. Customers not knowing they had a line of credit when all they wanted was an auto loan. Never came in to branch to do a loan. Car dealer faxed over copies of DL's and buyers order. No CIP done. Never identified customer before putting an application on. Employees told to put a line of credit on to waive $30 application fee. Dealer paying out incentive to employees. All of this was brought up to upper management. Never investigated and never got BSA department involved. Favoritism is a hand played daily. Cannot be friends with your employees especially when they are manipulating their scorecard and not doing what is right. Promote the people that are doing the wrong thing that is how you lose good people. Willful blindness only goes so far. Sit at the dealership on Tuesdays and find out who is collecting checks. Better yet go in and ask who they have been writing incentive checks out to the past 2 years. This is going to cost fines and reputation loss. No support. Antiquated systems.

Pros

• Pay and benefits were decent • Training and experience in virtual banking (phones and video calls) • Exposure to loan applications and product education

Cons

• Constant pressure to cross-sell (auto loans, CDs, etc.) and meet sales metrics • Limited flexibility to resolve issues (fee waivers were rarely allowed), which can put reps in a tough spot with members • Very tight office layout that felt claustrophobic, plus an overly close/“in your business” culture
