Pros

Working at Insify has been a breath of fresh air compared to other companies I've worked for in the past. It surprised me how informal and joyful our work relationships are, we work hard together but we also build lasting friendships and beautiful products. Dutch office culture tends to be very formal, boring and stiff, Insify is the complete opposite of that. Our tech skills are on a high level and it's very refreshing to work this way, no old systems or processes. I am really enjoying the diversity within our teams, a lot of different cultures come together. We have weekly lunches, monthly team drinks and in house coaching sessions hosted by our People team. Dogs are welcome, woohoo! The management team is very involved in our day to day things both as leaders but also as participants. We all build together towards the same goal.

Cons

The tempo can be high and the quick switches between projects can be fun but also a bit tiring. It's important to have good life/work balance and I can imagine for some people that can be hard. I have a good relationship with my manager and they truly respect me as a person, telling me to take time off or rest some extra after being sick. It's very nice to feel so supported privately as well.

Pros

International Environment Multicultural team with employees from various backgrounds

Cons

Lack of Strategic Vision – Frequent process changes without a clear business development roadmap. Weak Leadership – Inexperienced managers unable to coach, support, or retain talent. Disregard for Structure – Managers intentionally maintain disorganization ("fog") instead of offering clarity. Respect the Complexity of Insurance Insurance is not a lifestyle app — it’s a regulated, trust-based industry. Your product and growth strategy must be informed by people who understand risk, compliance, and client needs. Oversights here can lead to legal exposure and customer churn. Fix the Management Culture "Letting the fog sort out the strong from the weak" is not a leadership strategy — it’s a failure to lead. Clarity, consistency, and communication are not optional; they are prerequisites for any serious organization. Learn to handle disagreement and create structure where people can thrive.
