Pros

- People you work with become lifelong friends. - You can learn a lot in a very short time. - You can work globally.

Cons

- Top management sees you as dispensable workers, especially if you work in the HQ. Co-Founders also can swear at you. But they are different to global employees because they know they can't grow in the regions like UK and EU with a bad employee reputation. - It's not only that there is a lot of work to do and you work long hours, but they want you to spend even your late nights and the weekends in the office. Even if you don't have work to do, don't have a life and spend every moment in the company. - They pay lower than the industry standart because ''they give bonus'' but then it's very hard to achieve that bonus. It's not only your pay but everything is done with the ''do more with less'' mindset so your computer can break down in the middle of an important call working in an AI company because they refuse to purchase a new one. They won't put AC in the booth so you will sweat if you try to take a call in one of them. - Even if you do good at your job, they always focus on the negatives. You could've done more, take side responsibilities, finish all the projects in your KPIs, etc. - They lure you in with career growth opportunities but in realities there is no roadmap and even if there is a position open and you ask for it, they won't give it to you because of internal balances. Instead of educating the current employees, they try to hire externally and have that position open for months. - Most managers in the HR and especially their Head, have zero industry knowledge because they've only been in one company for 10 years. So they can't give you any good advice and usually make things harder for you. They don't know how to lead people and teams, so everyone is very unhappy. When you give them feedback, they only object and don't change anything.

Pros

1. The product demos well and, on paper, includes many features enterprise brands are looking for across personalization, lifecycle marketing, and customer engagement. 2. There are hardworking people across sales, SDR, marketing, onboarding, and support who are trying to do good work and support customers despite a challenging environment.

Cons

1. Commission is not handled in a clear or reliable way. The commission plan is not clearly written and is not consistently followed. Salespeople who close business will spend significant time disputing compensation they earned. 2. There is a noticeable gap between what is positioned during the sales process and what product, onboarding, and support teams are able to consistently deliver. This creates tension internally and disappointment for customers after signature. 3. The US sales motion is difficult due to limited client references, product gaps, and pressure to over-position capabilities in order to win deals. 4. The culture normalizes burnout and employee frustration. One comment from the CRO and co-founder during an AMA stood out: “You should want to quit Insider at least once a quarter. Once you want to quit three times a quarter, we can look at the problem.”
