Cons
There is no real HR department to guide the processes. Instead, there is only one lady responsible for all administrative work, who is very nice and hardworking! Don't expect to receive proper onboarding or quality mentorship, as there are no set processes for these. If you are seeking mentorship, you will likely receive it from another junior employee. It may be best to look for a different company if mentorship is important to you. The vibe between the owners is toxic. In the design department, some people keep a "weird" vibe to please the CEO, which affects the whole office and can be quite depressing at times. People are afraid to ask questions. It's best to eat lunch quickly and return to work, being a good worker behind the screen, without speaking with others or laughing. This is the expectation. CEO should behave more like someone in his position, it is so inappropriate to make gossipy comments about employees and overall about them. There are no equal processes for employees at Inova. Some receive large yearly bonus payments while others struggle to receive even a pity promotion. There are better companies out there, so it may be best to skip Inova.
