Pros

Convenient location. That’s about it.

Cons

They hire people for three months then let them go. They get government incentives for new hires and when those are gone they force you out by cutting your hours or plain out yelling at you and calling you childish names. There’s no training on their software. The owners tell you they are going to teach you but they just throw you in and tell you to fix the program but you can’t get access to the program. One of the lowest paying jobs I’ve had but they promised to increase the pay after 90 days. Well the job didn’t last 90 days. They fought me for unemployment. Nothing but a headache. The owners don’t give you the materials needed to make the machines. They reuse old parts and sell them to customers as new and then the machines break. Their software doesn’t operate properly. The owner does the sales and promises things that can’t be done or he won’t fund—just tells the staff to figure it out. They don’t pay their vendors so you can never get anything you need. They purchase machines that should go to scrap and then sell them to customers as new machines. Rack up the pricing and charge/blame customers for everything. As far as working there you’ll get calls at night, weekends etc. work life/home life is non existent and they don’t compensate for any additional time. They have one project manager that does everything—sales, design, graphics, he makes the machines, he checks them and will deliver them all on a salary. The company makes staff sleep in their cars when going out of town on company business and don’t pay for food etc. The company doesn’t provide basic necessities such as toilet paper or towels. No one cleans and it’s super dirty. They lock up the pens and paper. Computers are super outdated. It takes them weeks to grant you access to Microsoft. There are busy times and you’ll bust your butt to throw together (and it won’t work) then they will cut the hours but still want you to come in in the morning because they want to see you there. It’s all family and like three people who are not related to the owners. They ask you to lie to customers.

Pros

Close to home, close to home

Cons

Where to start...every single red flag you could imagine is present with this family run company. Lying, cheating, tax evasion, bait and switch. On and on and on. Behind The Scenes: They LEASE damaged vending machines from manufacturers to refurbish and sell/lease as new. No manufacturer will deal with them without having full payment upfront due to simply not paying invoices. They have been blacklisted by almost every trucking company in the area because they do not pay invoices. This is actually part of their business model...pay nothing to any vendor then try and negotiate a lower payment when lawyers or collection gets involved. There was an entire week where no machines were shipped out because they had screwed so many trucking outfits, no one would take the jobs. This extends to every single vendor they have net 30 with. They saw net 30 day invoices as free. Owner had constant cash flow issues. There is only 1 vinyl wrap (every machine is wrapped) company that will deal with IVS and the single guy will not even start a job unless he gets a cashiers check upfront. They use primarily temp agencies for their workforce. Robert Half had to pull all software techs assigned there one day because IVS was $60k in the hole. Owner waltzes in around noon everyday yelling and screaming and wonders why there are issues on every single project they have. Myself and lots of others experienced the broken promises of increased pay at certain markers. Again, in line with the above MO of attempting to cheat anyone and everyone that is owed money. Straight bold face lying to customers is their way of business. Always blame someone else. Go look at Google reviews from a few customers. This is not isolated to the problem customers (there are always some of those). This is the norm for all. This business is primarily a software company. The machines and mechanics are secondary. The thing they pretend to offer is thrown together at the last minute. A lot of the jobs can be fairly complex, yet they have absolutely no idea what it takes in the professional software space to make a working application. Again, a group of temp agency workers plugging away trying to make something that needs a full month of development to work in 5 days. Then yell about incompetence. Hello...your absurd promises to the customer are the only issue. And not allocating even the most basic resources to get the job done. Really want to write more but this already looks too long. But know that what is written above is just the tip. Could write another thousand words and still wouldn't come close to all the shady crap that this company is.

Pros

Get to work on exciting projects.

Cons

Hostile work environment, lack of leadership, poor planning, and the feeling of no self worth while working at the company. There is no feeling of accomplishment. And a general disconnect between ownership and employees.
