Pros
Will hire anyone who knows what a DNS server does and how DHCP works and showers daily. Pay is reasonable for entry level work. The gas card is nice because we were allowed to use it all the time, even for personal usage at times. They were giving a couple hundred bucks per quarter for tech gear, vehicle maintenance, and business expenses when I was employed. There was an attempt at a commission where you drove around with a magnetic decal on your car advertising the business. I never did this because reasons.
Cons
They put anyone with seniority in leadership roles, even if they don't have the capacity or patience for the added responsibilities. They will low ball you and try to pay you the smallest legally allowed salary if you let them. The owners are VERY hands on to the point of constriction. It is hard to make progress with some clients because they still do half of the requests directly to the owner. Very high turn over rate. Don't feel bad for wanting to leave in the first 6 months, this is natural and you probably should. Very needy. After they get you salaried (if you don't hire in salaried) they will attempt to have you work closer to 50 hours a week where possible. You will put a lot of miles on your vehicle.
