Pros

Insurance is ok but not great. Bonuses look good on paper but they try to not give them.

Cons

Anything goes because the manager lets the place crumble all around him resulting in unsafe working conditions. Customer service and employee retention is his last priory.

Innovative AG Services Response

Thank you for your feedback. Innovative Ag Services (IAS) is proud of the progressive benefits package we offer which includes a fully funded pension plan for those who meet vesting requirements. IAS is also proud to say we paid profit sharing for this past fiscal year. We could not have done this without the awesome employees working hard for us everyday. IAS takes safety very seriously and have had no reports of unsafe working conditions at our Hazel Green location. Our CEO and Management takes these kinds of concerns seriously and hope employees will report real time and speak to someone to resolve any concerns. Retention is our top priority but everyone knows this is a very competitive market for all companies to recruit in. Higher turnover rates are becoming more common place with the availability of jobs. We have had people leave to only come back a few months later. We respect your opinion and wish you the best in your future job search.

Pros

Outstanding and supportive people. They strive for excellence while serving their customers to the best of their ability. Culture is okay, the grain marketing team leads on culture and innovation more than other departments. Great compensation. Open to ideas and offer great feedback after hearing those ideas. Overall, they teach you a lot about your role within the company.

Cons

Company wide, things did not feel aligned. Some departments treated customers differently than others, leading to bad customer service experiences across the board. Internally, It didn’t seem like they were open to a cross-functional team growing environment. It felt classist as well, with the uppers partaking in certain workplace functions that excluded vital team members. They might leave you in the dark on company changes that could affect you or relationships that you build with the customer. While it’s not your job to know everything as an originator, you should at least be aware that you have some degree of agency where you work, and IAS does not provide that.
