Pros
Comfortable atmosphere Benefits Friendly Co-Workers Some people get access to do certificates and such - though others do not. Depends on how much the company actually likes you.
Cons
Upper management can be very underhanded. Poor pay - lots of people earning 35K or less per year after 5 years of employment. Terribly low pay ceilings as well. Work life balance sucks. So much work on our plates that its hard not to think about it when at home. Not enough staff and lots of expectations, so very hard to accomplish all tasks within reasonable timeframes. Overheard managers trash-talking about employees numerous times in the years I've been here. Most people get the bare minimum for gear, but middle management and higher (along with their favorite employees) have massive screens, nifty gadgets and very fancy computers, even when some of them have been around for a few weeks. It feels like there is a very strong separation between the haves and haves not here.
