Pros

Using a broad range of technologies in new and exciting ways, keeps the day interesting and avoids burnout on any particular technology. Great people that are fun to work with and relax with as well. Free beverages in the office fridge can't be beat! On-site parking (though the spaces are all "compact"!) Linux-centric and open-source-powered (for the most part)

Cons

Like any startup, some days are better than others. Deadlines come up and potential investors or customers need to be pleased right away to seal a deal. Not all that bad if you're honest about your capabilities.

Pros

True innovation is about finding 'new ways' of doing something old that will create new useful benefits for society and that is what Innovari has set out to do. The best things I like about my job and the culture at Innovari is that it feels like a 'Real' start-up; creating something new, pressure, excitement, being part of something original, immediate goals that must be met, immediate rewards, expansion, change and more change. The work requires multiple competencies in disciplines such as Hardware, Software, Networking, Marketing, Operations and more, which we have very capable people providing those skills. So for me I get to use work experiences that I have built up over the last twenty years with people that have done the same, that's cool!

Cons

Still thinking about Cons. A person not willing to work in a start-up culture would not be happy here. Getting past baseline development/quality processes as the company grows has been a challenge, which still could be considered a plus because we are small enough to effectively adapt those processes as we discover what works.
