Great VP of Sales. Is a great mentor and teacher. Gives enough time to build pipeline before expecting too much.

Cons

- Unclear vision on how to grow the business outside U.S. - Business development team targeted on just getting calls rather than good & qualified calls.

Pros

Opportunities to talk directly with customers (not hidden away). Community volunteer opportunities. Regular contact & feedback from management.

Cons

Reviews are not supposed to be about salary & salary lags behind going market rate. Opportunties for growth are limited & are more a formulaic & out of a management book rather than about the individual Leaders / management are average to below average talent-wise. Subject matter (patents) sounds cool from the outside, but the product is tailored around and sold mostly to bottom-feeding lawyers & businessmen who want to garner licensing fees (not the inventors). London-based acquirer (CPA) is a pretty backwards organization.
