Pros

The regular overlapping shifts left you build a good working relationship with your co-workers

Cons

No benefits, highly erratic scheduling (getting off at 5 AM only to be scheduled to work the next day at 11 AM). Owner isn’t afraid of accepting 4-6 hour contracts, causing officers to have to work 6-7 days a week just to reach 40 hours

Pros

I can't think of anything

Cons

If you call out whether it be an emergency or a family death they blast you on a board on their Google drive and put the reason you called out for everyone in the company to see so that they shame you into working. The owner is a failed Marine who can't run his own business and refuses to work at any of the sites but wants to micromanage from the phone he also puts one of his sergeants in charge of everything when the poor guy has his own issues and is a retired Marine who works more than a full-time police officer and does more than anyone in the company yet gets paid the least. He also will talk to you like your child and promise you things like armed guard positions that never fall through oh and they never check for your ppsb certification even though it's against the law for you to not have your ppsb card on you at all times you'll never see it. Oh and they also want you to wear a body Cam and act like a cop and then when something goes wrong even though they have the body cam footage to back up they will not defend you they will throw you to the wolves and they play the victim even though you did your job.and God forbid you never been to that job site that you're going to work at for the day because they give you a literal address and tell you to show up and you better be able to figure it out because no one will be there to help you. Horrible management and ownership skills oh and no benefits as well and God forbid you ask for a raise.
