Pros

The leaders of the office seemed quite nice

Cons

But they are all extremely manipulative. They dont care about you, they dont care about overworking and underpaying you. They say they arent money hungry, but they 100% are. I worked 7 days a week, 9-10 hour shifts. They told me if I kept doing all of these jobs and duties, I would get promoted to leadership. Such a joke. They dont care about your success, they only care about doing enough events at the different clubs so they can make insane money off of you. Thats all they care about, money. They try to make the company culture amazing, they don't allow the little money pawns to talk in the morning and often interrupt if we would even try to talk in the parking lot. If we talked we would talk about the issues we were having, which led to two of of quitting in one day. Main Issues: - Working extreme hours, 9-10 hour days, 7 days a week when it was promised in our interview that we would get a weekend off and only work the events 6 hours a day. - Not having health benefits when in the signing it was specifically stated " I would never run a company that didnt provide health benefits" A few weeks in, surprise, no benefits as promised. - They make you sign the paperwork on the spot as they go over it so you cant read the fine print. They make you sign a paper saying you cant sue the company for any reason.. if they have good business practices why would they even have this in the paperwork? Hmm.. - A girl was puking in the office, she was so sick and a team leader walked in on her. Her response: Either you go to urgent care or you have enough motivation to go to your event that day. Work is much more important than ANYONES well being. - Even worse a girl had a death in the family and she was still told she had to work her event that day. No, im not kidding. - We were told we could do rebranding once we reached a certain level, we wouldn't have to work in the field as much and we would earn a business degree in about a year. We were building so many skills! No, we did direct selling in Sams club. That was our job, and we were their pawns. - A team lead took hours I worked off of my pay stub so I wouldnt get as much overtime, stating most people didnt put that they worked overtime on their payroll so they could make more commission. I made it very clear that I was never working for free and this was never to happen again. Their commission system is a joke. When I confronted management about my problems I was asked if I to pick my check up at the office or have it mailed to my house. In all, DO NOT WORK HERE. I don't care how desperate you are. It seems like such a beautiful company at first until you really take a good hard deep look at the morals and manipulation. I hope they get shut down and i'm going to do all in my power to ensure it happens.

Pros

Everyone was nice and welcoming. Thats about it.

Cons

Honestly, where to begin. You are lied to from the start during the interview process. They try to sell you on the job instead of actually interviewing you. They make the job seem more glamorous when in reality all you're doing is selling a product at a Sams Club (which they don't tell you in the interview) so make sure to ask what you'll be selling and where. They tell you how quickly you will move up in the company but don't buy into that, its a scam. You're told you will only be working weekends for a little while and soon you won't have to work on the floor at Sams Club but that was also a lie. You start every day in the office as a small group for an hour and then have a long break until you have to go to Sams Club at 3-4pm and work until 7-8pm. I quit because I WAS lied to about the job, I never would've accepted the position if I knew the specifics of the job. The more I worked there, the more it felt like a pyramid scheme. PLEASE take my advice and do not work here.
