      Great for highschool students - Front End Cashier Ingles Markets Employee Review

      Pros

      Pay is a little above minimum wage, great part time job for highschool because they can work around your schedule, meet new people and talking to strangers helps break you out of your shell.

      Cons

      My first day I showed up and no one knew I got hired. It feels a bit unorganized, but things manage to get done. It can be a bit of a pain to get your schedule in order but nothing anyone can't handle.

      -Rotating Weekends (Work Sat/Off Sun then Off Sat/Work Sun) -Flexible Scheduling

      Cons

      -You are expected to do a lot of work for very little pay -Being promoted is extremely unlikely and any wage increases is purely for inflation, not because they think you deserve it. -If you do not fight for higher wages they will not give it (I knew someone who has worked full-time in the deli for years longer than I, but somehow he made less than me) - Deli Management is very clique like, the assistant store manager has many complaints filed against him. -Expected to work holidays, no holiday pay or overtime (ever)
