Pros

Depending on your position, hours and some scheduling. Other than that, nothing.

Cons

Does not matter how long you have worked at the company you will be let go for doing nothing more than standing up for yourself. I worked for Ingles for over 12 years of my life and was trying my absolute best to become a store manager. This company does not promote for hard work, they promote if you are buddies with the upper management. There are so many negative things I can say for working for this company but I think the number 1 thing I can think of is "Greed". When Bob SR died that is when working for Ingles started to become unbearable. I am all for change but some of the stuff they would come up with was absolutely ridiculous. Store managers got their bonus checks taken from them to pay for this huge, massive warehouse but you can be your last paycheck that all the upper management was still getting theirs. Also, it does not matter as a department manager how much money you make for the company, it is NEVER enough. Reach the goals they want and still, you are not doing good enough. My team and I were making anywhere from $38k - $50k a month in profit dollars and my only bonus was a $50 a year gift card to the store. The pay was decent but not nearly enough for all the work I was doing. If you want to work for right wing republicans who care only about how stuffed they can make their pockets, will emptying your hope for life and pockets at the same time...by all means, work for Ingles but take it from me. If you want to move up in the company get ready to suck up to everyone who is above you in terms of management because hard work will just get taken advantage of.

Pros

-Rotating Weekends (Work Sat/Off Sun then Off Sat/Work Sun) -Flexible Scheduling

Cons

-You are expected to do a lot of work for very little pay -Being promoted is extremely unlikely and any wage increases is purely for inflation, not because they think you deserve it. -If you do not fight for higher wages they will not give it (I knew someone who has worked full-time in the deli for years longer than I, but somehow he made less than me) - Deli Management is very clique like, the assistant store manager has many complaints filed against him. -Expected to work holidays, no holiday pay or overtime (ever)
