      nothing is really coming to mind.. i guess i had a few interesting conversations with customers. way more rude customers overall though

      Cons

      leadership is bad. manager's quote: "we will hire anyone with two teeth in their head" so naturally the turnover rate is high. you dont always get days off even when you ask well in advance. raises based on seniority not performance so very little incentive to work hard

      -Rotating Weekends (Work Sat/Off Sun then Off Sat/Work Sun) -Flexible Scheduling

      Cons

      -You are expected to do a lot of work for very little pay -Being promoted is extremely unlikely and any wage increases is purely for inflation, not because they think you deserve it. -If you do not fight for higher wages they will not give it (I knew someone who has worked full-time in the deli for years longer than I, but somehow he made less than me) - Deli Management is very clique like, the assistant store manager has many complaints filed against him. -Expected to work holidays, no holiday pay or overtime (ever)
