Pros
There's a lot to do and not a lot of staff, so I was never bored. Employees are invited to get involved in every step of the process and make suggestions. The small group allowed for exchange of information and ideas.
Cons
The buck stops at the Owner who, before this company started 10+ year ago, had no business or management experience at all. A lot to do because he over promises and can't settle on an idea, not a lot of staff because the turnover is astounding for such a small group. He's aggressive, demeaning, and not above calling an employee names and accusing them of sabotage LOUDLY and in the middle of the open office. He was known for storming into offices yelling obscenities while employees were on the phone... consistently forcing uncomfortable situations in his own people. I've never worked for a company where so many employees didn't make it past the first day.
