The company practises waterfall project management style. Tasks are assigned through trello secretly without telling you beforehand but you are expected to be informed through your own means or by magic. Yes, the supervisor , has such bad english that when you read the trello you would not understand or perhaps it was being put down with just few words. No he will not come to explain the task to you. He will sit at his place drinking coffee, and you have to bring your laptop and chair and come to him. Then he will explain again on a very expert level and said it is an easy task that he can actually complete within 5 minutes. Still you are going to be super clueless, you went back to your seat, sit there for an hour trying to figure out whether is it you are too noob, or his english is too poor. Trust me, you are going to doubt so heavily till to the extent whether you are a human being or not. An hour later, you came to him, and finally you thought you have gotten the answer. He will give you the glare and explain again. And you might need to loop this scenario for 10 times. You worked on it again and again, and finally pushed it, thinking you have nailed it this time. Few days later, there is no feedback or news from your pushed work, you thought it's considered done and accepted but then you might suddenly be asked to keep on merging conflicts again and again on your feature branch as you are asked to do so . After few weeks, your trello tasks are seen to be archived, and you probably are wondering is this why it is called "Training" by the supervisor. But you keep quiet because no one talks in the office the whole day, the one who dares to raise voice is their own boss who came in once every few days and shouted on phones whenever he is in the office. Other than that, anyone who goes to the supervisor's table tend to lower voice when asking question. No one has a clue why is the environment like that. The supervisor will continue do his own thing, and talk to his prefered female subordinates in closer proximity. He will handpick a few favourites to create opportunity and spend time with them. A month later, the management, will call you in and tell you that you performed badly and ask you to sign a performance unsatisfactory proclaimation letter. Also at this point of time, you probably be more curious to find out what the company is doing when you see some weirdos walking into the office with piles of cash like what you can only see in the mafia movies. The boss will exchange cash with them. There is once or twice you walked into the back office, and you wonder why are there some old dudes doing some small electronic projects. You began to question whether these are for hobbies, or for their kids school project.. You also began to realize that whatever you have done so far is not being committed into the master branch. You asked around, and you realized the same thing happening to all your colleagues. You began to wonder whether the company is doing some illegal operations. You tried asking the management, and you are told no question asked and you decide to look for a new job. One month after you left this company, you heard your ex-colleague was fired on the last day of his probation without given any advanced noticed in contrary to what promised in the contract and seek for MOM's help. Last it was heard that MOM ordered the company to compensate the 1 month pay as what stated in their own employment contract. Sipping the nice coffee in you office pantry, you are glad that the justice has served them right. That ex-colleague who just lost his job actually managed to grab another new job offer before the incident, and you are happy that he is going to enjoy what a real office pantry looks like, with beverages and food likes yours, not the old pantry with just a kitchen sink and a water filter, meh
