Pros
There is really nothing positive I can say.
Cons
I began work at Indie College in Cooks Hill. It was a toxic work place with colleagues who were aggressive, extremely difficult to work with and tried to sabotage my training by lying about my course requirements. Everything was micromanaged. The workplace was hostile. I sought advice on how to manage the issue and was instantly targeted by management who instead of managing the issue, tried to sweep it away by forbidding me from contacting her via email and putting anything in writing. Furthermore, she falsified teams meetings and claimed non existing support was provided as a pretext for dismissal . The complaints I raised were also related to RTO compliance. This is an unethical company. Their business model relies on government funding, as such they seek to grow by enrolling more students. Qualified coaches are needed to increase student enrollments, and Indie education managers fast track these qualifications by dishonest practices, including cheating by copying from the marking guide, which is fraud and may have serious implications for you personally. I raised these concerns and was promptly fired. It was clear management had no idea about the fair work act. I have pursued legal action against this company for adverse action.
