      Pros

      Great to work on behalf of the teachers, state employees & police officers of the state. Impressive colleagues from varied backgrounds. Great benefits and decent pay for a governmental position.

      Cons

      I did not like the bureaucracy or political intrusiveness from outside the pension system. Benefits were chipped away over time.

      So many learning opportunities, great work-life balance, amazing company culture. Employees are very valued and the entire team is amazing to work with.

      As a government position, you sometimes have to deal with the slowness and compliance that comes with it.
