Pros

- You will bond with your coworkers (trauma bond) - There's a beautiful big building to work in (that you will be forced to work in every day because they took WFH away after promising to never do so) - Free food (From the main Indeed company - because, unless you are one of the CEO's buddies, you may not be able to afford to eat lunch elsewhere) - Will be told over and over that your job is secure, but it never really is. - Guaranteed weight gain from the stress and lack of feeling like an adult human (I lost 20 pounds within 3 months of being done with this company, without diet or exercise)

Cons

- Work-life-balance? Ha, what's that?! The CEO basically expects everyone to bring his dream alive but wants you to sacrifice any dreams or free time you may have. It factors into your employee evaluations. - Nothing that is promised will come to fruition and you will get a stern talking to if you voice this - HR, which should be the middle man in the company, actively buys gifts for some members of management (so you will never feel comfortable talking to HR about her/their "friends") - No real leadership or management. Any idea you may voice will be stolen by management as their own because they like to hire management for aesthetic, not experience.

Pros

Working at Indeed Flex was a time I would never give back. I got the chance to work alongside some of the brightest and most driven people in the business. When I started, we had a lot of autonomy and trust in how our team could make a different and to try new things. I also had the room to grow within my career and promise of more opportunities down the line.

Cons

After my first two years, the company quickly shifted. Working at Flex in it's current culture is a competitive burnout factory where if you are not working yourself to the bone, you are not appreciated by upper management or respected. Be prepared to have your work unfairly scrutinized by people who do not understand your role, and to have any mistake you make immediately used against you. Flex was once a place of true open-mindedness and is now a place where the nastier you are, the more you are rewarded. Also, senior management will change company goals and restructure teams at least twice a year if and when goals aren't met. Which lead to constant confusion and rework.
