Pros

When people ask me where I learned to think about product, I say Increff without hesitation. Not a course, not a book — this place. Building WMS modules that are now used by over a hundred brands, navigating the tension between client customisation and platform scalability, presenting to investors and board members — these experiences compounded over five and a half years into a perspective on product that I couldn't have gotten anywhere else. The founders gave me the kind of trust that's genuinely rare — the latitude to make big bets, and the coaching to land them well. I was part of conversations about company strategy that most PMs at my level would never be in. The ESOP value I realised on departure was meaningful and handled with total integrity. What I treasure most, though, is the group of people I worked alongside. They made me better, and I hope I did the same for some of them.

Cons

Work is more, Life is less.

Pros

I've worked at places where design was essentially a cosmetic step after engineering had already built the thing. Increff treats UX as a genuine competitive input. I'm in product discovery sessions before a single line of code is written, conducting user research with enterprise clients, and influencing decisions that shape how the product actually feels to use. That's what design work is supposed to be, and finding it in a B2B SaaS company — where UX can sometimes be deprioritised — genuinely surprised me. The team is small enough that every designer has significant ownership, but there's still a culture of critique and peer feedback that sharpens the craft. Engineering partners are respectful of design constraints and collaborative when tradeoffs are needed. I use Figma for everything, have access to real users for testing, and have shipped work I'm proud to put in my portfolio. Two years in, I'm still excited about the problems we're working on.

Cons

nothing to share here as downside

Pros

I've sold software I was privately embarrassed by. At Increff, that problem doesn't exist. The WMS is genuinely excellent — clients who've implemented it see measurable impact on their operations, and that gives you a confidence in sales conversations that no training programme can replicate. The product sells itself to a degree, and your job becomes less about persuasion and more about helping prospects understand how it solves their specific problem. The sales culture here is collaborative rather than cutthroat. Leadership is supportive in large deals — you're not alone when it matters. Marketing generates real demand and CS makes clients successful enough that referrals are a meaningful pipeline source. The commission structure rewards top performance generously, and the transparency in pipeline reviews makes forecasting and coaching feel constructive rather than interrogative. Three years in and I still find myself genuinely excited about the deals I'm working on.

Cons

Enterprise sales cycles are long by nature — you need patience and a long-term mindset to thrive here.
