Pros

Incitement offers two things: great challenges and extraordinary colleagues. Incitement is rigorous. The company functions on high-performing people that deliver extraordinary results and that's not for everyone. But the right people that are in Incitement are those that thrive on these two things. Firstly, Incitement’s culture is built on people taking on the responsibility to deliver outstanding performance, and the company gives us the freedom to decide on the conditions that allow us to do so. If it's best to take a day off on Monday, go for it. If it's best to travel and work remotely, go for it. If it's best to work from home for the week, go for it. If it's best to come in at 2pm, go for it. The only condition is that we are responsible for doing what we need to do to deliver the results, with integrity. Management doesn't babysit you, they trust you. It is a high pressure workplace because we have to deliver. Not because they force us to, but because it is in us to never settle for anything less than great. We have the remarkable freedom to take on challenges we want to, to push ourselves to achieving more, to take charge and pave our own careers. It is incredibly satisfying to see us conquer such challenges. And more than that, it is satisfying to see all of us achieve it together. Whatever we achieve, we say "We did it," not "I did it”. Incitement is filled with the best people I have had the pleasure of working with and this is their culture. They are game changers, talented professionals, passionate pursuers of excellence, and amazing friends. Everything done at Incitement is the collaboration of all these individuals. Each person has amazing skill sets and knowledge and a willingness to go out of our way to help. Everybody has something to learn from another, and also something to teach. Incitement cares about our growth: both personally and professionally. They do this best with only hiring great people, and the culture of ideas over egos. We aren't in competition, we are in unity of achieving the same great goal. At the end of the day, that goal is revolutionising the social impact industry and it is transformational to see what we do translate into why we do it: to create social impact in the world.

Cons

If you are not the right fit in performance or culture, everything is a con.

Pros

Incitement is not another conventional working place, it is a place where you can do what you love and make a contribution to the world while doing it. You will always have support, guidance, and feedback. This helps you to improve and learn everyday. You are available to give your opinion and ideas to contribute to the whole team because the team is super important and it is like a family with amazing people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. They are more than colleagues, they are friends and the fun continues after work with dinners, trips, parties and more. At Incitement everyone cares about you and your personal and professional growth. They recognized your work and the monetary compensation will be a result of it. You can manage your time, it is important to be responsible and get your job done. The holidays and time off are not worries at Incitement, you will have more than enough. You have flexible hours, pool day (it does not mean no work to do, it means you can work from the pool area and swim or enjoy the sun if you like it) and even better, you can work from home on Fridays. They provide tools for success, from laptops to books and learning courses, and many more. Another good thing is that you do not have a dress code, not suits and ties if you do not like it. You can be yourself and feel comfortable. Transparency and respect are also important.

Cons

The office is nicer every day but it is getting small

By October 1st, 2016 (when we have MSC status) you will set foot into a brand new office, bigger, better, and faster internet :-) Unfortunately without MSC status we can't do much, the downside of doing business in Malaysia... We're working on it! Thanks for your feedback :-)

Pros

Incitement has a pretty unique work culture, there's a balance of work and fun where everyone works hard and then party hard as a pat on the back. Incitement has flexible working hours, pool day takes place every Thursday (swimming is optional if you prefer to sit by the pool and do your work instead), and a work at home day. Days of paid leave is also quite flexible but as long as you get your work done. You get to work with people coming from different countries and cultural background whom are not only your colleagues but are your friends. Once you join the team, you become part of the Incitement family. They really care about your growth whether it's personal or professional, so everyone needs to come up with their own learning goals, how to achieve and utilise them, there's also a weekly progress/performance meeting just to check in on how everyone is doing. Incitement promotes learning and encourages it so they will sponsor one book a month for every individuals and any courses, seminars or workshops that will benefit your profession in any way. There are beanbags and everyone gets a Macbook (for work purposes). What I like the most about Incitement is that, there's no hierarchy, everyone just treats each other equally and with respect.

Cons

While the office is a great place to be at, the open space may be a little distracting at times when you need to fully concentrate on your work.

We couldn't agree more with your feedback, thanks for that! In order to address this issue we've reduced the amount of meetings to 1 meeting per team every week, and all meetings will happen on the same day. So there's 4 days per week without meetings. Also on Friday you can work from home to boost your productivity, and on Thursday we work from the pool. Last but not least, we've implemented Silent Hour, so that every morning until lunch the office is quiet and peaceful, without any distractions. Hopefully these fixes will help reduce distractions :-)
