Pros
HR helps to keep staff in check and maintain a healthy office environment. Path for upward mobility. Corporate took senior laboratory staff seriously when it came to any concerns raised in the laboratory, from equipment to scheduling.
Cons
Lower pay than at most private practices. Most big decisions are not made within the clinic or by the people you interface with on a daily basis. This means raises often come slowly and do not keep pace with laboratory skill sign-offs. They also often want work over the holidays.
