Pros

Incredibly smart, talented individuals here all committed to the inspiring mission

Cons

The employee burnout here is absolutely real. Many join because it looks good on paper, but many have left and will continue to do so because it's chaotic and toxic under the hood. Everyone is super smart, dedicated, passionate to deliver but it almost feels like you're running on a hampster wheel, expected to join marathon, back to back meetings, work crazy hours, have vicious and non-productive feedback loops that make you question your expertise, lack of direction, where you're expected to sell solutions that solve D&I challenges, and yet the company itself doesn't dedicate or devote enough to the cause internally.

Thank you for your review. We are disheartened to hear that this was your experience. We take your comments very seriously. From the inception of InStride, our leadership team has worked very hard to instill a culture of inclusivity, equity, and transparency, starting with the Founder’s Memo. We support this vision by implementing tools and processes to strengthen feedback loops and train managers, including our weekly company-wide “Connect” meetings, our InStrider Engagement Survey, and our performance management tools that help us stay aligned on goals. And although we work hard, we hope and expect employees to maintain a meaningful work-life balance. Please don’t hesitate to also reach out with more details; we’d love to hear from you: Feedback@InStride.com.

Pros

Great benefits & remote first culture

Cons

The only way to succeed is by literally working 24/7. Too much work for a tiny team.
