Pros

Pretty laid back, free spa services once a month, learned about spa services, was able to do my homework at the front desk, developed my communication skills

Cons

High turnover rate which resulted in overscheduling, hard to get shifts covered or time off due to management wanting the same times off even if you requested it off months ago, rude customers, not very consistent training, at times very boring, corporate can be really difficult and entitled

Pros

When you're a new Esthetician, right out of school, it can be hard to get a job because in school they rarely show you speed waxing, so you're not up to par in a high volume setting. InSpa has put together an intense 3 day training program where new hires work one on one with a company trainer to perfect their skill set in waxing/facials/tinting. They teach you all the protocols and really prepare you for success! They are a locally owned, and I have had nothing but good experiences with upper management. It truly feels like one big family. (The CEO gives everyone hugs when she comes in, it's seriously the sweetest thing) I can't speak for all the store managers because I haven't worked for all of them but my manager at the Mill Creek location is awesome. Great balance of being tough, but fair. And the manager at the Bellevue Sq location is one of the sweetest/motivated people you'll ever meet! Great advancement opportunity! (They hired me right out of school and six years later I'm a lead and a trainer) Not to mention all the extra certification programs they have to offer at no cost to you. (Lash extensions, Microneedling, PCA peels and more)

Cons

No direct deposit No comprehensive health care plan (Supplemental only)
