Pros

Very little travel if any

Cons

The training is sub par. It starts with classroom " academics" then you are off to your clinical training with people who may or may not be certified. Typically not. Then you have a month to be checked off. Plus there is micromanagement throughout.

Pros

Fast paced job with great opportunity for advancement. You have to be extraordinary to be recognized, but it generally means the best people are the ones that get chances for career advancement. Highly competitive company that has a diversified portfolio. Impulse is not satisfied with the status quo in the IOM industry which is painfully evident at other companies that provide 'traditional' services at below market rates. Nice to be a part of a company that is supported by a broader organization (NuVasive).

Cons

Lots of change each year as a result of merger/acquisition activity. Can be confusing on where to go for certain elements of the business as the company has grown to over 500 employees on the service side.

Pros

Everyone in the company looks out for your best interests, and is invested in your long term education as well as further training.

Cons

The job is stressful, the hours can be either great or torture depending on the week. Not enough individual attention to the amount of work you do.
