Pros

I have very little positive to say about my experience at Imprivata. My coworkers were great, and my direct manager was lovely, but upper management is terrible.

Cons

I worked here for 4 years, and after 4 years, they cut my salary by 20k without any real notice. When I brought it up to management, they said "it wasn't in the budget". You have no real voice at Imprivata and are definitely a cog in the machine. They don't actually really care about their employees well being or ability to survive.

Imprivata was a great company to work for and they really focus on employee experience.

Was laid off during COVID unfortunately.

Pros

New CEO is smart, capable, and doing a good job Benefits were good Catered lunch in the office each Wednesday

Cons

Toxic middle management - yelling, tantrums, and retaliation on top of extreme incompetence. Managers fail to lead and are essentially micromanagers of tasks. They create meaningless work, stress out about it, and fail to validate the business need at any point in the process. When you suggest and deliver something of actual value, you will receive no credit. Honestly this was the worst experience of my entire professional career and I’ve never been so thankful to leave an organization.
