Pros
This is a solid place to learn if you are new to the industry and want to build your career in sales, marketing, and/or event management. It’s also a good place to get project management experience – well I guess there are a number of categories! As a professional with previous working experience at another marketing firm, I found Imminent to be a significant improvement. Their management is super professional and provides full support to you when you are getting trained. The pay and bonus structure is also pretty good. Good performers will not be left wanting for anything. If you put in the effort and deliver results, the company won’t hold out on paying you well.
Cons
One thing I found odd was that the company treated experienced professionals the same as fresh graduates who joined the business as interns. I get that it’s 100% promotion from within, but I really felt a bit overqualified for my first few weeks. I just put in my time and got past them, though.
