Pros

They can be flexible with time off.

Cons

The onboarding is terrible. Not enough time is spent with new employees to get them up to speed. They are usually launched without clear expectations. Also, many in management have been promoted so quickly, they don't know their job, and will throw anyone under the bus to keep it. Finally, they are chronically understaffed.
