      Pathetic company for Data science - Data Scientist Idexcel Employee Review

      Pros

      There are no pros in this company. Please don't waste time even in interviewing in this company for Data science or RPA developer. Management is unprofessional, rude and disgusting. You will have to struggle on a daily basis to survive in the company, they aren't bothered about employee complaints. There is no way to tell manager feedback, if you try you will be thrown out.

      Cons

      The quality of work is poor, you would mostly work on MS excel, prepare documents on confluence and attend useless discussions on how to manually finish tasks. Absolutely zero machine learning work On top of this, there is no work life balance, you may find yourself preparing an excel sheet for an entire week, 10-12 hours per day.

      Idexx is a great place to work at and it encourages people to grow in the company

      Pros

      Joined because I was excited to work on AI product called InferIQ. But it is just a glorified OCR.

      Cons

      Poor work culture. Leader in charge of the product keeps yelling at the team and threatens to fire people on team meetings. Product roadmap changing on a weekly basis based on trends this leader hears in the news. Teams are working late nights every day and on weekends. The product has failed completely, but the leader is close to owner, so the leader somehow continues to keep his job.
