Pros

Location. If you have previous experience in development, you can negotiate the salary.

Cons

The onboarding process in the company is lacking, with new employees asked to fix bugs almost immediately and with hardly any professional oversight beforehand. There are no team leaders, VPRD is almost not involved in development at all, and the code is written without supervision, resulting in most projects being written in a disparaging and unprofessional manner. There is no quality assurance department. There are no meal vouchers, and budgeting for the supermarket is handled stingily. The same goes for basic and technical equipment. Team-building and fun days are on the employees' private time, if at all. Except for the weekly Happy Hour, it seems that there's no investment in the employees, and encouragement and appreciation are lacking. Work, work, work.

Interesting project with challenging frontend problems to solve. Payments are always on time. Work hours follow the usual Israel timezone schedule.

Cons

There was nothing negative. Maybe just a limited number of available projects to switch to within the company, but that’s fine if you’ve discussed and committed to the specific project you joined.

The income they pay is high. Sick days are paid from day one.

Cons

- Expect 12+ hour days, typically 8 AM to midnight, far beyond the official Sunday-Thursday 9-18 schedule. No breaks on holidays, vacations, or sick days, with only Saturdays off. - Unrealistic deadlines, with managers lying to workers about timelines and to customers about delivering on promises. - No sprint planning, demos, or daily standups. No teamwork. - QA is not involved in planning or processes, yet is expected to fully test incomplete features and poorly written documents within 2 days. - Testing is done on production. - Toxic work environment with false claims of work-life balance. - Insufficient food on Tuesdays, with reminders to limit portions.
