Pros
The transition of innovative ideas into a business (sometimes). A great way to learn what works and what doesn't when trying to monetize a technology, especially since you see multiple technologies trying to do this. Very friendly employees in all the startups.
Cons
Management often seems to relate with employees on only on a personal or friendship level rather than a professional one. Also, the facility is remarkably uncomfortable, being a remodel of a patio restaurant. Lighting is especially poor. Work areas are highly public. This may not matter much to people who are new graduates or who have never worked at a large company.
