Pros
Loved working with my team. Clean environment (if you also help contribute to cleaning the facility). Job is a job.
Cons
Unrealistic scheduling and patient triage. Certain "guests" are NOT appropriate for treatment; yet to increase profits, they will take their money and let the providers deal with the unsuccessful and unrealistic results. No MA's to help facilitate flow. The provider has to treat pt, clean room and equipment, and take care of follow ups, which can go over your time. Questionable cleaning protocol for the gauges used on every patient.... Also, for PAs and NPs, they provide a lower salary purposefully and tell you the productivity bonuses from "add ons" will make your total salary more market competitive... In reality, this does not happen and you can get a different PA/NP job that pays a much higher salary. For all the education, time/resources spent becoming and advanced practitioner, I personally feel there is no reason why NPs and PAs should not be making a six figure salary. Also, I spoke with a recruiter who was very honest with me. She told me she was glad to see Ideal Image on my resume for only a short period of time. They said if I stayed there longer, other employers/recruiter's confidence in general medical knowledge and skills decreases (based on the whole "You don't use it, you lose it" mentality).
