Pros

Salary is not bad. Some people are OK

Cons

I worked for more than 20 years on a lot of different companies, and this is by far the worst. They dont provide proper training, or help. You are alone inside the company, and you are not treated like an employee but as another company that works for them. They will give you tasks without knowing what they really want. You must perform your duties accordingly to the mind of the CEO, which would not be so bad if he told you whats in his mind. No company values, nothing. Overall a company lead by a technical juggernaut that knows nothing about management.

Hi there, Sorry that our relation went sour and thank you for the feedback. As a young scale-up organisation we are trying to get everyone on board. We believe in self organising teams that can take decisions according to the priorities which are being agreed together. I avoid to micro manage and delegate as much as possible. And yes, priorities shift. It seems you have interpreted this as indecision. While my true intent was to lay a foundation for a two-way communication and aid in engaging you with the team. It did not lead to the desired outcome We do have a career management in place, and we allocate 15% of the staff budget for training purposes and skills growth. As things evolved, it was clear that there is a mismatch - which happens in every company, and I failed to align the expectations I'm really sorry we were not able to turn this situation around. You are always welcome to continue the conversation I sincerely wish you all the best in your future endeavours. Francis

Pros

I have worked in both companies with micro-management and without, and I honestly prefer to have the liberty of organising my own schedule and tasks. There is a lot of flexibility in terms of where you work, your schedule and tasks. Your ideas are taken into consideration and can actually make an impact in the company. They are open for their employees to explore different positions within the company. You might start as an SDR and in a few years end up as a Pre-sales engineer. It is an international environment with values. They actually care about their employees and their well-being. There is great communication within the company as there will always be someone willing to help you. The team is international, young and creative.

Cons

I wouldn't call it an inconvenient as it is a plus for me, but you have to be a fast learner and own your position. You are given the opportunity to come up with your own strategies and ideas. If you like this way of working then this is the right place for you,

Pros

I’ve been working at idalko for 3 years now. I like the diversity and optimistic mood that prevails in the company, also the flexibility of work schedule, opportunity to travel, to learn and to do what you like. I came in idalko as a green junior with just a few months of experience. While working here I tried so many different roles and tasks, and the company always welcomed my experiments and encouraged me to learn and to develop.

Cons

I cannot say that everything is perfect here, there is always a room for improvement, but at moment nothing comes to my mind.
