Pros

-They are flexible with your schedule. You can work whenever you choose to work. However, since they try to accommodate to everyones request you won't always get enough hours or the days that you want -Short shifts easy $$$. Most days are busy even on the slow days there's always a rush at some point -It's a small capacity restaurant that can get packed easily, but that in a way makes the job more manageable because the job itself is already chaotic enough as it is

Cons

-Management and shift leads all play favoritism. At this place it's not that hard to get drawn into workplace drama even if u are a worker that minds ur own business. almost EVERYBODY gossips amongst each other, even going as far as to eavesdrop on their other coworkers conversations or talking behind their backs -As a new hire you start at 50% tip and slowly bump ur way to 100% the better u work. Could take weeks, or months. Shift leaders are the ones that will oversee ur performance and tell managers whether to bump u or not. Some shift leaders are biased, therefore having people pleasing skills are a must. -There is not a set training procedure. This is why many new hires eventually quit. Expect to be thrown in on ur first day...that's another thing about this job. If u are not a quick learner prepared to pick up ur co workers slack, they will leave u in the dust. -The rules are wishy washy, and there's no "set" way to do things. A co worker will lay out the general routine for u, but each shift leader has their way of "managing" the job "routine". Gotta learn to adapt to each of their expectations -Having to pick up other co workers slack because upper management always play favorites
