Pros
The people here are really great: smart, innovative, talented and nice. The atmosphere is collaborative -- we all work together to get the job done. Workload and deadlines are manageable, and stress levels are generally low. Employees have some freedom to choose projects they are most interested in. Employees have day-to-day flexibility to occasionally work remotely or shift working hours a bit -- which helps a lot with work/life balance. The company is willing to invest in technology and innovation, and is small enough to be nimble and adapt quickly to changing technologies. Management is extremely open and accessible -- I have never worked at a company this big where I felt like I could just walk into the CEO's office to share a thought. Management is responsive to any employee concerns. Employees have the opportunity to go to occasional conferences, classes, or other activities for personal/professional development. It's exciting to be a part of a company experiencing such rapid growth. There are regular team-building and social opportunities (but not excessive, and not required). Also, there is a convenient downtown location, a great gym in the building, a variety of free healthy snacks, and a fun volunteer program.
Cons
I guess working on a small team has some disadvantages not specific to this company. For example: testing and QA could be improved if additional resources were made available.
