Pros

The team itself are great

Cons

Bureau are the runt of the litter we bring in the highest revenue and paid peanuts. Overworked and underpaid. Management pretend to care about concerns and then go out of their way to take workload from other bureaus. Bureau is just a dumping ground for the rubbish no one else wants our mental health as a team are shot with anxiety levels through the roof people running away to other departments to get away from it all and management use this as an opportunity to show how well we promote within. CLUELESS! Management only care about what makes them look good. recognition is only given if your face fits everyone else is just left they just pick a favourite and to hell with everyone else

In our Managed Payroll teams we conduct regular reviews of task allocations to ensure we have sufficient capacity to complete the work. We strongly hold to agreed work times and any overtime that should be accrued is handled via our time in lieu policy. We’re committed to paying our employees fairly and competitively and are delighted to offer pay scales in our Managed Services department to help our employees grow their salaries as they develop their skills. We’re also always working hard to provide all our employees with a range of opportunities to support their growth and development, such as our High Potential Programme, to support the business’ future leaders, our Learning Management System, and our fully funded apprenticeships and Masterships. This is a great way to further build your career and we’re proud to celebrate more internal promotions within our Managed Services department than role changes into other teams. We care deeply about our employees’ wellbeing and mental health and are extremely proud to have been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing year on year and have won the Best Integration of Wellbeing and EDI award at the Make a Difference Awards. These accolades highlight that our employees feel well supported here at IRIS and recognise our great range of mental health and wellbeing support – including trained mental health first aiders, a weekly workplace support group, company-funded access to talking therapies, wellbeing apps, an Employee Assistance Program, and Mindfulness training. Pros

I have been with Iris for approximately 5 months and have been incredibly impressed. The people I work with from my peers, leadership (including executive leadership) and my team, are amazing. Building relationships has been easy as most of the employees are open to it, are very collaborative and genuinely want to help! Iris is also focused on equality and ensure we all have a fair opportunity for growth. While we have a lot to do here, it is clear that we are valued.

Cons

As a rapidly growing organization, we have some growing pains and some foundational processes, systems and flow that need to be updated and/or adjusted, but nothing that won't be fixed over time.
