Our culture is friendly and intense, but if push comes to shove we’ll settle for intense. - Payroll INVO PEO Employee Review

Pros

Gotta say, when I joined the company a year ago things were pretty bad. The culture was very negative due to a few key people that weren't doing things right, and there was so much change all the time. But in the last couple of months we've gotten a new company leader who is really making things better. The morale is up, we're finally getting some help in our understaffed areas, and I enjoy coming to work again.

Cons

There used to be an almost toxic culture here but it is much better now. I do wish we could have at least one food event a month where we could bring in a potluck or something. We do it from time to time, but I think it would be great to have more often and builds a sense of community. Also I wish there were more collaboration between departments but that is also getting better with new leadership.

Pros

I've been here a year and it's been great. I've had great people to work with. It's one of the better office jobs I've worked in.

Cons

If you don't like corporate office life, this isn't for you. That's not a con in of itself but it is a turn off for some people. There is a high learning curve for new people that can be difficult at first.

Pros

Competitive Pay Benefits Team commraderie Varied workload

Cons

Micromanaging "Rules for thee, not for me" (controller and accounting manager) Infighting among owners (father and sons) Dick-swinging contests between upper management (CFO and VP) Abuse from upper management (verbal with physical threats) HR has no avenues for discipline when presented with reports of abuse to employees.
