Pros

The people you work with have friendly personalities and their clients are very often the type of people who don't like to beat around the bush.

Cons

Many things in this category... The sheer lack of respect for employees' time made it extremely difficult to work on the assigned tasks. This is often caused by having face-to-face meetings every day. Whether it is all 8 of us or just a one-on-one with management. Scrum-like meetings are alright in my book but this was not in that style; we would have meetings in the morning for 10-15 minutes at a time just talking about nothing important. Not to mention the people in sales don't care about what I do as a tech, so why would I care about what they do? Management has no idea how to handle task assigning and no one is clear on job titles/positions. For example, hiring people for system support and getting them to do sales or shipping management or a full development project. People get overloaded quickly and either shut down or just stop listening to the boss. Also, when suggesting something of sound reason (even the other colleagues approve), the CEO will often nod his head and the idea will rattle through his mind and come out the other ear completely disregarded. Any pay here is not worth it, they are not competitive and the pay will be highly underrated compared to the work you are expected to do. The environment in which you work is bright, except that the people are not. Working in close quarters with people who lack common courtesy such as leaving things on your desk alone or turning the heat way too high. There's less than 10 people in the company and people cannot be bothered to ask you before doing anything that might affect you or anyone else. Management also has an attitude towards the customers that they do not (obviously) show to the customers. I was once told that the customers shouldn't be calling in for support because they were using the technology in a way that was not defined as a use case. This is not the kind of customer support I wanted to deliver.

Pros

INVERS has been growing for the past few years and with it came some growing pains. Today, the team that grew together over the past few years is more than dedicated to their customers, colleagues and the shared mobility world. New team members are on-boarded quickly and with a friendly attitude. They are part of the team right away. Contact to customers is always friendly and professional and customers appreciate that they know many of the team members personally. The atmosphere is very relaxed, friendly and family-like. People help each other out and know what's happening in the company in general (sales/projects/support). You have the feeling that staff members don't just care for their own areas but the company as a whole. There is room for team members to grow and take on projects. And for those who are up for a challenge - there is still a start-up spirit in the air. Still, more strategic planning for company goals has evolved over the last year and teams are actively engaged in working on goals together. The right tools are available. Company car use is possible. The Shared Mobility world is a super interesting area to be working in today.

Cons

Has some growing pains like other companies. Coaching for those growing pains would certainly be beneficial. Meeting culture still evolving. There are some meetings with little to no call to action for team members. Team could certainly use more people to support projects.
