Pros

If you've never worked in a call center or any office environment this is a good place to start. Not heavy on rules or dress code. Good for getting used to sitting in a chair all day, customer service experience development, and learning what is and is not appropriate for the workplace. Hours are also extremely flexible. Not a place for a career as there is the ability to move up but it takes forever and if you have a good relationship with other agents the likelihood of you moving up is slim to none. Also the "raises" are a joke. Only good thing, monetarily, is the bonus at the beginning of the year. Basically a minimum wage, foot in the door job.

Cons

Management can be wishy-washy. Sometimes the rules are this way then they're not. Only enforce rules, policy, and dress code when they feel like it. Is big on quality when they want to be. You can be doing great on your calls for 4 weeks and then the 5th week they'll switch your grader and all of a sudden your being failed every call and penalized like you're incompetent or don't care about the work. A lot of gossip and rumors in the workplace. Turnover rate is also pretty high. Consistently understaffed so expect to be worked to death. Hours may be flexible but expect to work one weekend day as a part of your regular schedule and it must be an 8 hour shift.
