Great experience - Consultant INCAT Employee Review

Name recognition as they are well respected for knowledge and expertise in the MCAD domain. Being part of the Tata family and presence in world markets is a plus but unfortunately this doesn't imply worker mobility.

Does not take knowledge worker development very seriously (i.e. no concerted effort to augment internal group learning and external skills building). Hazy career path within the company although there seems to be a lot of seniors in the company. Information doesn't flow through on some important matters such as organizational changes. Informal communication left to its own devices (user email, telephone) and low sharing.

The company offers competitive compensation, good benefits and flexibility when required. Account management seems decentralized - which I thought was a good thing, but see the related cons as well.

I suppose the company needs better account management and better strategic planning. Decentralization and lack of proper oversight has led to haphazard practices, inability to match talent and opportunities efficiently... It did not handle the current downturn well at all - too many people let go.
