Pros

Get to work for a client who influences many different types of entities by producing national energy data. The parties affected by these data can be the following but not exclusively them: Academia, Oil and Gas Prices, the stock market, etc.

Cons

Relative to how experienced, versus industry standard, the pay is low. Also morale is low and the work is very repetitive.

Pros

The people, the benefits, and that management genuinely wants feedback from employees to improve the work experience. Committed to work-life balance and for providing in-company growth and opportunities.

Cons

Not really a lot of downsides, we used to be in the basement of the federal building which was a little sad without windows, but we have been working fully remote since March of last year.

Pros

First off, I wouldn’t recommend IMG to anyone. WFH is the biggest pro, and work life balance is important here which are the best things it’s got going for it.

Cons

Turnover is high since there is no room for growth — professional or salary wise. You will have to fight tooth and nail to get a salary that aligns with the rest of the industry and will be severely underpaid until you maybe go up the corporate ladder when someone else leaves. Nepotism EVERYWHERE. Upper management are self serving and egotistical who possess little to no knowledge on how to actually manage their employees. They’re not real leaders or managers, you will not feel valued by them, and they know very little about the surveys they oversee.
