Pros

Great Member Service, Lending and Accounting Staff.

Cons

The credit union is growing and they need to hirer more staff, they need trainers that will take the time to train the staff. As a Senior Manager when you give your word to your managers you need to keep it and be accountable when you drop the ball for your lack of training.

Pros

Great Benefits, which is one of the only reasons why most employees stay.

Cons

If you need great benefits and can put up w/ unnecessary drama, vindictive backstabbing, and outright nepotism.... this is your place. NEPOTISM / FAVORITSIM: This is a very small “Union” company where nepotism starts at the very top…. And the “clicks” run deep within Senior Management, which makes the work environment very difficult. MANAGEMENT: Incompetence and favoritism fuel Senior Management, who are far more interested in creating drama and backstabbing than they are with performance. Upper management actually takes pride is seeing others fail. STAFF EMPLOYMENT and LOWER MANAGEMENT: Fortunately, all hourly/salary employees are union (as of recently) and can no longer be easily blamed for the incompetence of senior management… which, at one time, was the norm. Lower Management is now the scapegoat, and it is well known throughout the company. PROMOTION: Non-Existent. Due to the small size of this company, promotions rarely come available. But, as stated, the “clicks” run deep with Senior Management… and, if you're on the wrong side, you will never be considered.
