Very good Medical Insurance Program and 401k

Cons

Contracting company for CDC so even though you work for them, you are on your own inside CDC.

Pros

Joining IHRC was a great career decision. Best corporate culture I have ever experienced, by a mile! Owner puts her employees first; we all know that she considers her employees the mission (followed closely by the mission of supporting our customers). She works hard to figure out what employees are best at and nurtures those areas while delegating increasing responsibility over time.

Cons

No cons that can be attributed to the company or its leadership. The only cons are associated with ANY company that focuses its service areas on State and Federal Government contracts; there are normal ups and downs in that business line.

Pros

Excellent approach to management: supportive but not micro-managerial, business-sensitive but not at the expense of the human side. The new President is not afraid to take needed steps to streamline the functionality and effectiveness of the management team. She never lets her employees forget that she's thinking of them and will rise to their defense in situations where a client is misbehaving -- that's VERY refreshing, and VERY rare. Inspires loyalty! Also, this company doesn't just TALK about the value of diversity (all forms: gender, race/ethnicity, religious background, LGBTQ+, etc.), this company DEMONSTRATES that they value the creativity and broad perspective that comes from working on an extremely diverse team. Never seen anything like it. Lots of companies talk the talk, but when you look at their Board and their executives, it's all old white guys.
