Non-standard salary rate and no transparency about it. No tech I, tech II, specialist etc. Different technologist make vastly different amounts within the same job., regardless of # years working with the company or the level changes in amount of responsibilities. Generally speaking, some techs make market average, some make below market average, and others make significantly less than average. None make above market average. Good starting job, but no clear path for career advancement
