Pros

Great pay, great benefits, bonuses, generous holiday and PTO schedule. Great pay, great benefits, bonuses, generous holiday and PTO schedule.

Cons

The company culture is very discouraging. You would think that a place with free health insurance, above average pay, and a very generous bonus and holiday schedule would be full of employees whistling and skipping all over the place. But it doesn't, unfortunately while I was there EVERYONE was miserable. You heard a lot of complaining, vicious gossip and a lot of sour faces. I'm not sure why this was, but usually by week two, a new employee's enthusiasm had taken a nose dive. Consequently, employee turnover was VERY high. I witnessed at least 2 employees leave every single year I was there. By my second year, we basically had an entirely new staff (in a company of 35 that's a major problem.) Only the employees who had been there for over 10 years seemed to stick, it seemed that everyone else couldn't resign fast enough. As far as the pay, there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to it. I noticed that some assistants made way more than managers, some people who had worked there for years made less than newer employees with the same title. Notably, I've seen that the women and people of color make the least of all, despite the incredible amount responsibility many of them have. It's remarkable.
