Pros
A collaborative low-ego culture where everyone has a voice and a seat at the table. It is great to see all the diversity of thought within our teams. IDEX invests in its talent and employees through its OpModel deployment, coaching frameworks, and intentional 1:1 time between managers and employees. IDEX gives lots of opportunities to learn and realign through bubble assignments and other postings. They provide team members the psychological safety to try something that may be hard or new where they may not be very good at, initially. This helps develop the right muscle memory for the team going forward to be flexible and agile to change and taking calculated risks.
Cons
There is a lot of growth opportunity for people working at IDEX which always means there is a lot of work to be done. That can be heavy on some people but utilizing the 80/20 principles can help focus on the critical few to drive execution.
