Pros
Good company to work for. Promotions are readily available especially if you have college degree and better with graduate degree. Fair wages and good working conditions. Prides itself on ethical business behaviour. I have worked for a couple of IDEX business units for 23 years since IDEX purchase the independent company i worked for.
Cons
Ever 2 years the company tries to reinvent itself when new CEO or President comes in. It's flavor of the day. Then they go thru all kinds of changes and loose quite a number of good experienced people. Like any publicly traded corporation they are in it only for the shareholders. Experienced personal dont matter they just get some MBA with more education than brains and spend millions on their new flavor of the day. They never seem to consult front line personal.
