Pros
The senior leaders at IDEX truly care about employees. The leadership team has a high say/do ratio. Safety & health of the team always comes first. IDEX is progressive and takes proactive steps to be role models for diversity & inclusion. Very few GM roles empower you like one at IDEX. Each BU is independent and GM's are responsible for all aspects of operating the business. This is a unique experience and unlike most GM roles. IDEX is attractive for candidates who like to be challenged and operate in a Servant Leadership Environment. Great Teams, Customer Obsession, and 80/20 is the focus for all employees at IDEX.
Cons
I have few cons to share. The culture at IDEX is a perfect fit for me, but it's not for everyone. If you don't fit the IDEX culture, embrace the operating model, values, and Servant Leadership it will be difficult for you. Do your homework and make sure it is a good fit for you.
