Pros

The sky is the limit for an ambitious employee that can perform. IDEX is serious about Ethics, Values, Employee Engagement, and Employee Diversity & Inclusion. IDEX pays well. Performance reviews focus both on Results and Behavior, which promotes a productive workforce that are easy to work with.

Cons

The transition for a newly acquired company into the IDEX fold can be painful (RIF's, reduction in products, performance targets). Can be a revolving door for management (observed at some sites 30% turnover per year). Quarterly financial objectives can eclipse longer-term customer oriented strategies. Unforgiving environment regardless of past performance. High pressure to meet goals. Tends to make people risk adverse, even if the risk is acceptable and potentially high gain.
